The Slimming world diet is a method of a weight loss center in England.

The Slimming World diet was developed at an English weight loss center that has enjoyed unbroken success since its inception in 1969. The success of the diet is mainly due to its simplicity – no need to count calories – and the fact that it is basically a healthy diet.

It is considered “the most effective diet in the world. ” Developed by a British company, over 5 million people have followed the program over the past 40 years.

This very successful weight loss program is based on diet optimization, according to which we need to ingest low-calorie foods so that weight loss is set up properly. Of course, the creators of the diet program also encourage exercise, but this is not part of the official Slimming world diet plan. The diet is based on the following principles:

  • Low-calorie foods are “free foods” (ie they can be consumed in unlimited quantities)
  • Higher calorie foods that are high in minerals and vitamins are called “healthy extras”, of which only 4 small portions per day are recommended
  • Consumption of other foods is limited, the amount consumed is determined by their “syn value”.

    Daily 5-15 syn is allowed per day, depending on how much weight you want to lose. 1 glass of wine for example 5 syn. Syn values ​​are, of course, calculated from the caloric content of each food.
  • Dieters divide the week into two parts, there are “red days” and “green days”. The foods belong to different days.

Here Is a Simple Example for Slimming world Diet Plan (1 day diet plan sample):

Breakfast:

  • 25 g of muesli with non-fat yogurt

Snack No.1:

  • Skimmed milk and 1 banana

Lunch:

  • 1 Can Tuna in brine, Chicken breast strips, Low-fat cottage cheese, and Green salad

Healthy Extras:

  • 225 g Baked apples, 1 slice of Black bread

Dinner:

  • Skim cheese and broccoli, pasta 100 g Chicken breast, 125 ml Skim milk, Steamed green peas, and Carrots, 1 non-fat Strawberry yogurt

With the Slimming world method, you can lose 1-3 pounds a week optionally, depending on your physique, the number of extra pounds, and physical activity. A sure thing, low-calorie meal, and exercise are the key to losing extra pounds.

What Slimming world Hacks You Should Try?

Although the diet is basically low in fat, of course, your body needs fats: eat yogurt with probiotics, kefir, and cheese. What you need to completely exclude from your diet are chocolate and alcohol. It is also important not to eat foods rich in refined carbohydrates – white flour, sugar – on green days and to avoid fatty dishes.

Important!

These weight-loss diets should not be used by pregnant or breastfeeding mothers, teenagers, and those with gastrointestinal disorders. It is recommended to consume at least 2-2.5 liters of non-carbonated mineral water, juice, or tea per day during the course of treatment.
